The fox didn’t seem to be in poor or starving condition, he had what seemed to me a good body weight. The wound itself looked like it had been sustained a while ago as there was signs of some healing . They are resilient and remarkable creatures that’s for sure . I’ve shot them with missing tails , missing legs ( cables around their waists) Mange , no teeth . I wonder what gnarly specimen will turn up next . I have a fair bit of permission that nears housing and sort of backs onto fields . I’m sure that people feed them , otherwise some of these pathetic foxes wouldn’t have survived. They are well meaning folk but they are just prolonging the suffering. …….. Until I turn up ?
