Anybody attending great Dorset steam fair this year? Unfortunately not going to make it this year but would recommend it to anyone for a decent day out. Brilliant atmosphere in the evenings to

 i always try behave missen, im 78 years of age, but in my head, im still a youngun, can u believe, ive been invited to a line dancing club tonight, fish n chip supper back at old gretchens flat afterwards  whooooooooooooo    doggyyyyyyyyyyyy

At £30 on gate ticket no , it was £25 up to online last night ? 
I find once you been once you can miss it for couple of years and also it’s to commercialised now with more stalls selling stuff aimed for the travelers like swanky looking bedding . 
when I was a kid my parents took me nearly every year and there was more auto jumble stalls and army surplus stalls etc . 
its all overpriced as well and some of that is due to the fees having to be paid . The Oliver family have got greedy I feel.

I haven’t been for 7 years. So would be worth me going again. I get offered free ticket every year to help a chap with his steam engine but I can’t afford 5 days there

You been to Berwick St. John it’s nice little show , that is on 17-18 September I think , 

the one at chickerell in Weymouth was good this year to

I only tend to go a couple a year. Sometimes as a spectator sometimes go give a mate a hand with his steamers go welland occasionally good show. Or port Elliot is a good show.
