Or lack of it, not had any here for weeks, so i keep a bowl full of water on my front garden for em. even the neighborhood cats are drinking it during the night, i catch the buggers when i come in from feeding my foxy friends, ive just been outside this min, and u cant see the water for wasps,

That’s south Essex for you, as a rule of thumb it will stop raining in April and not rain again until October…..get used to it.

Gets me a month with out rain and the Water authority's start putting hose pipe bans on. Since privatising the Water in 1989 just one reservoir has been built and that on was started in 1979 at Carsington. So in over 30 year not one reservoir they just extract from rivers just what needed when the rivers are low. Take the profits but don't build any storage mental.

SW Water is owned by a French company, the Pennon Group. On my last job, my company sub contracted to them.
