Mustelid 144
Can anyone recommend a cctv system for home/kennels? Preferably wireless and idiot proof to install, 4/6 cameras. Thanks in advance

I’d get the 9mega pixels one now if I changed again think I got 5 or 7 now. Those Swann brand or other cheap stuff ain’t worth a carrot

Qbgrey 4,254
Trouble is if you got shit Cctv and and a blurred pic of a burglar it won’t hold up in court it hast to 100% clarity for a conviction. Not really needed on most cases as a drain rod across the front row normally ends the confrontation

Kizzarty 0 Posted yesterday at 12:14 Report Share Posted yesterday at 12:14 (edited) I used to get loads of random alerts from my cameras too, mainly from trees moving or cats setting them off. Switched to Vivint and it's been way better—fewer false alarms and the motion setting's easier to tweak. The phone app’s been solid as well, no lag when checking footage. I’ve got it set to record only when something actually moves, saves loads of space. Edited yesterday at 12:14 by Kizzarty
mitre 215 Posted yesterday at 12:23 Report Share Posted yesterday at 12:23 Had a few problems installing our cameras and getting them up and running properly plus memory cards for recording sometimes is down to the quality of the manufacturer of where the camera is made and their software they use ?
