Fuuck me how many have you had?

I’m third ?

How are things out the there? We are booked on a camp site in the north-east from 2nd Jan, but no point in going if the bars and restaurants have shut down, either enforced or through lack of trade.

All open mate.

Whereabouts are you going?

and remember to blackface ya kids for the “dia del rei” ? Night of the 5th Jan is a procession with the three kings and the next day is a festival day, big party and geared towards the kids.

Yes, that is why we are going. I'll look my Dad after a shift down t'pit ?

We are going to a site betwen L'Estartit and Torroella de Montgris. On a normal late Dec / early Jan there normally aren't many tourists so I thought with reduced numbers some places might close. And the festival could suffer too. It is a 6:30 hour journey.

You’ll be right. The rules in Cataluña are you have to show you Corvid Qcode. Where you are is nice but it’s gonna be very chilly, especially at night.

The nearest city is gonna be Girona. I reckon most towns and villages will have some sort of a party and procession but if you can get into a larger pop areas, it’ll be a bigger deal.

Nothing much will be open near you on the 6th so make sure you buy what you need ;)

Thanks. ? We won't be leaving the site by vehicle. Once the MH is parked up she stays parked. I'll check with the camp site as to whether either of the local towns are doing anything. If the bars and restaurants aren't open there is no point going. As for the weather; we normally spend all day out and either cook the evening meal in the van or go to the camp site restaurant. We take frozen meals to supplement us and there is a supermarket and market in Torroella.  The MH has a heater and we have overnighted at -6C down there.

Just looked at their site....they have a statement that they are no longer using full blacked faces....

.... Well fck em they can stick it up their arse then

FLMAO mate I went out dressed as Shirley Bassey with a load of everyone (black, brown, one cnut who was slightly yellowish) a few years ago now. Do that now and you’re a cnut! But it’s ok to black up the kids still ?
