Sounds great mate. Which gun ya gonna mount on it? ?

Maybe I should put some pics together as the hole thing gets put together for this imaginary championship I'm gonna not win with my 50 something tremor and general decrepidness... The the making is the best bit.

I unboxed it today and wow... Just wow. Its the most outstanding optic I've ever had and its not even premium. Dunno what the hell one of them would be like. IMG_20210317_190250.jpg.44d58edc607e44b093afd718ff169750.jpg

Mate. It’s f’kin massive. Like my nob ?

Yeah get some pics up kidder. Be good to see it. Had two falcons in the past, and being honest, and this is in the field mainly, there just toooo big. Waaaaayyyy to big. Even in comps like. Done 3 with my 98 mounted to one. Came 4th, 8th, 20th and 3rd. 3rd in the .22 class though, a 97 thing ?? They literally wack on an extra KG. My mrs would of struggled to sit on the turrets [before I met her... of course... with my Uber big willy] You can’t beat the first focal shift like, but in my opinion, there made for a bullet, on a bench, on a pod, in the US, not a tin foil bit of lead in the uk, in the rain, free standing.

However. It’s a high end bit of kit that will only enhance your rig. The glass and ret is ridiculous... more aim points than a Thai bride, build and finish is top notch too. There just to heavy IMO.

Keep us updated how you get on mukka x

Yeah weight may be the issue..

I just asked John Farbrother what he suggested and used and this came up.... We'll just have to see if I can lift it!

Neve had a problem with Hawke scopes, even on my spring & FAC guns

I've just been unlucky mate.

My fast mount 3-12 x 50 AO on my Warhawk is solid as bang on clicks maintains zero.

By my Airmax 3-9 on my hunter was a zero loosing pain in the arse on SM one piece mounts. I have another scope on the mounts and the gun with no issues.

The the compact SF 6-24 Airmax on my 97 lost zero as well but when I went to really dial out what I thought was me mounting the scope poorly I found with thr plum line that the Ret was twisted... So just went the hole hog with the Falcon Torpedo. Lol

The best thing for that is a Sportsmatch adjustable mount - zero as close as possible using the mount then, fine tune with the scope turrets

Yes mate agreed.

I wondered if it was possible to get those in weaver / picatinny and use a one piece weaver picatiny adapter rail to get the height I need to get a pellet in!

Sorted it... Unbelievable I never imagine this would work just 11mm extra height  And you can see why custom stock and cheek peice is needed jeez.

I'm chatting with two stock makers at the moment mate. My original hand custom stock unfortunately split before finishing, which was... A little upsetting, I have to say the grain on the wood and especially around the pistol grip was not right. It was always going to split of striped and left to dry before staining etc...

So Custom Stock... Is being purchased. I can't eat mind... But who cares.
