Greyman 32,403
Just a quickie, I,m finally on the move and by this time tomorrow will be on my boat,so I need an internet connection so I can set up my online banking shit and the few other things I need to stay in touch with the world for, now my daughter has an EE device that is plugged into a 240 v socket and gives here full connectivity were ever she is, but due to her work and life she needs a lot more than me so has unlimited everything on it, so my question is what is the best device to buy nowadays, I have 12volt and 240 power supply’s if it needs plugging in or can I just get a dongle type thingy that goes in my charging port etc , what would you use ??? MH1 1,931
I've got a EE dongle for work (the USB charging type), works fine can download loads off it, not as fast as normal WiFi but no problems. Just need EE mobile signal for it to provide wifi

It has to be mobile that’s all as long as it works when I,m on the move, and when I get to were I’m going as I’ve said I’m not at all technically minded at all and at present only have internet in my house which comes with a lot of wire and once I leave I,m off line
South hams hunter 8,996
There's a couple options on this GM, there's portable ones that run on batteries and are rechargeable and there's also ones that are plugged in constantly. Depends on the data you need and what your looking to spend mate
Squirrel_Basher 17,102
If you don’t want too much fuss mate just get a smart phone .I know you have a basic brick but move with the times mate .Turn off gps if your worried about anything ,Anything you can do on a small portable laptop can be done on a smart phone including exceptional pics .However there must be some sort of hardware installed that prevents large cats from being photographed clearly
