France Needs This

Recommended Posts

Interesting what she says about needing French Laws to over ride International treaties and EU Laws.

The UK Parliament is debating and voting on the Internal Markets Act on Monday.

If passed, it will give U.K. Law precedent over EU Law.

This is needed, as the EU , in the event of a trade deal, will make Northern Ireland subject to different rules to the rest of the UK regarding the passage of goods.

Labour, of course, are talking about voting against the act, or abstaining.

Brexit was about " leaving the EU and all its institutions ", not having one part of the UK still having its laws made in Brussels !

Cheers.

Macron has totally changed his stance recently. Initially he was all for stopping  Brexit so that he could get on with his plans for world domination and robbing the poor people of France of their pensions. Now, with the French general elections looming ever closer and facing a run off between him, le Pen and the new popular right-wing candidate he is wanting to stall any Brexit negotiations until after the French elections. This gives him time to pretend that he is supporting the fishermen, farmers and the car workers even though blocking any deal that does not allow his fishermen continued access undermines the other industries such as car building and farming. He is hoping to pull a rabbit out of the hat and cannot afford to let the UK seem to have won any Brexit deal worth having.

He really is an odious little man and I wouldn't give toupee for his chances of getting re-elected.  (See what I did then ? )

Maybe, if a le Pen gets in, they'll set an example which may open eyes on this side?

Unfortunately, of course, MI5 would then just roll out their bobble headed little shil to form yet Another 'party' and so ensure no truly Nationalist team gets a decent look in and the status quo is preserved.
