Found this video on Youtube I thought was excellent. As this question gets asked a lot now, especially since BASC stopped their cover, I thought it might be useful to post it here:

Try SACS mate, similar to BASC Scottish Association Country Sports, they do it plus a Hunting Life Discount.

Never had to use it mind but check it out. HTH

I joined c3 County Cover for shooting insurance this year, fully covered £36 !

Must admit that I am not joining BASC again and have decided that it was between the CPSA and C3.  I am now not too sure about the CPSA because legal expenses are not covered for rifle situations and I spend more time live quarry shooting with rifles than shotguns,  the jury is still out.

SACS don't cover legal expenses.
