Bit of a contrast this was taken in March 2018 after a storm this is the end of the road that went all the way to the houses at the far end. the storm before that one took out spaces for 50 or so car to park. About 60 foot gone.

Decided I'm going to treat myself to a nice little Mackrell rig.. or sea fishing general set up. I'm back on the coast for a week in Kent and then a week in Suffolk next month so I've got a few weeks to get my teeth into this sea fishing business and decide what gear i need. I'd like to keep things simple to be honest, quality gear.. but minimal faff!!  I'm all ears if anyone has got any pointers!! I live 70 mile from the coast so would only use it when we're away, and I'd never be interested in the carping game.. pretty sure of that. I know absolutely nothing about fishing by the way...??

You got a budget in mind mate? Sea rods vary from 30 to 600 quid ?

Your'll be gutted after being on water that colour when you go to suffolk as it's a light muddy brown at best, but that's where i do my sea fishing and i do ok on the bass and smothhounds but i have a little boat. When your suffolk way give me a shout and i'll try to find out where is fishing best for you but it ain't as good as the southern waters no way..
