FOXHUNTER 5,021
Just been out stalking this evening with my mate , I was glassing and he was on the rifle. Chilly north wind but better than sitting in the house. First 2 roe spotted were a buck and doe racing across the field having been disturbed by dog walkers. So we stalked along to the far end of the ground and was greeted by 2 does chasing each other hard. We decided to stalk along the wood edge which was sheltered from the wind. I quickly spotted another 2 deer chasing , this time 2 bucks My mate got ready on his sticks and when they stopped , shot the bigger of the 2 bucks , he only ran 10 yards and expired. 11 Quote Link to post
