Coney 3
I am also interested in a response to Ducks question as the weather (when raining) seems to hamper my efforts. Thanks. Quote Link to post

I find windy days keeps the blighters underground, rain does'nt seem to bother them. Be prepared to spend more time on your permission than you think necessary, try different times of the day or night, make sure you're 'not on the wind'. Happy hunting. Quote Link to post

Also with increased wind and rain this reduces a rabbits ability to sence any danger so they may choose to stay underground. Also you may have a number of foxes in the area that are doing the rounds and spooking the rabbits at night. Or failing that I may have shot them all..................... Guest coney catcher99
prahaps charlies doing his rounds before you mate try an early morning walk i find its best on a rainy night and windy they squat tighter and the wind blocks a lot of noise so they got less chance of hearing you coming Edited January 11, 2008 by coney catcher99 Quote Link to post
