Hopefully a bit of a bonus

Out tonight on the farm clearing a few more rabbits.

The farmer is gradually giving me more and more land to cover which is great. Managed to clear seven more tonight but only managed to pick up four as couldn’t find the others?, always annoying when that happens.

As I was loading my gear back in the van I got speaking to one of the fellas who helps out on the farm, turned out to be really nice fella.

As we are chatting he asked “what do I do with my rabbits?” I replied “would you like these four?” Any way long story short he took them for his ferrets.

The chatting continues and it’s a good possibility I’ve just bagged myself another farm as he has not got time to clear foxes and rabbits on it due to other commitments. Foxes have been taking chickens in vast numbers.

Gave him my number and he is passing it on???

Turned out to be a cracking night all round. ( apart from not finding 3 rabbits that is?)

Fingers crossed this new farm pays off??

That's a great result if that pays off mate

and as far as not been able to find your spoils

get that huge wad from under your mattress and buy a thermal spotter , lol

Let’s hope it turns out Dave.

That huge wad has took a hit, just bought a new scope?

Need to get saving for a few other things before thinking about a thermal spotter.

Need a mod for my 308 and looking round for some trial cams.

Thermal spotters don't always help with finding  things that have been shot. I spent an hour last week looking for a fox i had shot in a grass field that was due to be cut. Ther.mal in hand i was virtually on top of it before i saw the heat source. The dog is the best thing for finding dead stuff

I’d love a dog but the Mrs is not animal friendly, or kid friendly either, hence no pets or kids?

Nice one, you seem to be getting a good collection of land now, once you get the first others always come along ?

All seems to be coming thick and fast at the moment mate, if this farm pays off we’ll have a mooch over, only 25 mins from home?
