sussex 5,776
Thought I’d put this on the stalking forum as Rob will probably just put it on the taxidermy section ..This was a roe I shot a few years ago that has just been kicking about the place having never got round to cutting and making a shield for it .Rob on a visit round thought it would make a good mount .To do this I needed a cape , of which I was unlikely to shoot in the near future , step in Yokel Matt who not only provided one but packed and posted and then refused to take the postage , which I donated to McMillan, that sorted Rob then got to work , I already had a roe done by him that looked right , so needed one that looked the other way He didn’t think it would be a problem and so it turned out .. The detail down to the early morning dew on the hairs on its chin is stunning ..my pictures don’t do it justice..well pleased would be an understatement.. 2 3 Quote Link to post
