Photon and the 97ks spring rifle

Well to finish SI,s week end up hear we went to the shooting range

and as i had the Photon in the bag in the back of the tank

i thought id fit it to the 97ks blue

some of the lads have asked before if they would be ok on a spring rifle

so i thought id put it to the test ,

and as these units are not only for pcp,s but for rimmys and such i thought it would be ok

i fitted it up and zero,d it in with the help of Si (im not very patient when it comes to setting nv,s up lol)

any way i set the target up at 30yrds (laser,d with the day night range finder)

and set to work

i put a good few pellets through her and she was spot on

the recoil did not affect it at all

not dead center put all under 5p

not sure if long term would affect it and another thing if you do fit it to a spring rifle make sure its a light one

and not a 97 or the likes as it adds a hell of a lot of wait lol

How come all the ones I looked through were awful  even with doublers on , or was it all set up wrong ?

I watched a vid from a photon the other night and the picture was absolutely brilliant

Just play with the settings and it will become clear Mitch

got to admit mind iv had some right feck on with them

and the pic is not good in day time mind

but the other night when i had a go with the vulcan the pic on the photon was clear Cristal clear

but then again Pav knows them like the back of his hand lol

What shooting ground is that buddy? 

Mrs is an Ashington lass so we go up now and again. I went to Steve's Shooting Ground (think that's what it's called) a few years back.

the range is at swarland about 20mins away

and steve smiths has not changed still the same targets they had 40yrs ago lol

No mate, I rejoined the site after a long "holiday" whilst on a jolly to Greece
