Popular Post Squirrel_Basher 17,101
The chicken sheds have been very quiet recently with very little rat activity due to the change of pest controller who knows his job (b*****d lol).Got the call last minute as usual and turned up with 4 terriers . Like the old days really with rats breaking out as the shed was moving and terriers doing their thing . Finished with 168 with about 20 killed under the shed as it cleared the muck and not in the pic . Hopefully some immunity has been built up . Brings our running tally to 19,775 since starting in 2008 32 1 Quote Link to post

Apache... 2,588
How long would it take Fd for that amount of rats to build up under a chicken shed (on average), and how often would you visit them. Quote Link to post

The layers are only in the sheds for approx 8 months ,then caught up and the shed is washed and moved to new ground with new birds .If left alone with no poison we have done 400 plus regularly from each shed in the past with our best 640 odd but that was before any poison was used .The numbers self regulate when they get too overcrowded by canabalism Quote Link to post
