After the successful airgun woodie shoot at the weekend I was keen to get the Chinese airgun under the same tree a couple of days later alas they were not going anyway near that tree again!

So Chinky delight did not get a chance.

So today I took my Webley 410 and my super thrutchers, a reload of 7narfs.

They did excellent, 11 shots for 9, not to shoddy if I do say myself.

I only sat at the bottom of the tree with a few deeks out.

I do like a little session with a 410.

I’m putting a 410 on my shopping list, got a nice farm made for the job!

wont be getting a chinky springer though, two 97’s I’ve got are gonna out last me

Had a 97 once, belting rifle but way too heavy for  me.

There no lightweight I’ve slapped slings on mine and fettled them to feck,  don’t know why I bother with pcp’s cos there more fun and just as accurate

do you ever get a moderator ( silencer) on a 410  , got few rats in my garden , and the old air rifle   job very hard as they  never still  hard   to get solid shot at them, thought 410   would be spot on for the job, but dont want it to loud .?

Never shot a silenced 410 mate.

I bet the 2" cartridges would be very quiet through a mod. They are quiet without one!

I got a baikal hushpower 410 fully silenced, and its ideal for rats with 2" cartridges nice and quiet, id say its as loud as a springer without a silencer on,

Years ago when I was a kid I had a silencer for my 410 that worked well and was just a phut when fired upwards but when fired out at a ground target wasn't a lot quieter than normal. I was using four longs. Traded it in with other stuff for my first 12 bore sbs because the 410 was a toy and didn't give me the grunt that I wanted. I did have a single barrel 12 at the time but I also wanted the second shot.
