That TX is almost embarrassed to be compared to that PS. TX, in the case of yours Mac... wins hands down.  Colour pallete is so gangster.

It's ok, I'm with you brother - TXs rule   Here's a picture of the under lever from the PS that I owned for a while ........

I'll do that. Iv'e just done the TX and if the 97's spring is anything like that, it'll shoot much better.

I know everyone thinks their own rifle looks best but that TX is awesome. I need a few more coats of oil on mine to get close to that.

It was darker than that when i got it off Si

iv lightened it up a bit

but its the new dark walnut stock that they are dishing out now on there rifles

Get a picture up mate

This is my 3rd and favourite - a .177 HC in Walnut stock.

......... It had 2 or 3 coats of Danish oil.

That blue laminate 97 looks beautiful. I like the 97 but I'm struggling with mine. I can't get it to shoot consistently (me, not the rifle).

Keep at it the 97 is one hell of a beast to tame but once you do it will reward you big time

plus a simple de,grease and re,grease and a polish of the spring ends and piston

will transform the rifle

plus give the barrel a clean as well more so if it was new

Very nice, I obviously need to save up the pennies to raid Rowan Engineering catalogue.

Rowan bits are nice but, they're feckin' expensive - the only bits on mine that truly make a difference to my shooting are the adjustable butt plate and the trigger.

This TX was a bit of a treat as it's my favourite rifle - this one really is a keeper.

......... There's no way I'd usually spend that on extras

I don't think they do a brass one but, they definitely do a black one for the Viper and Mamba for just under £34.

I can't put up my best shot with the TX because someone will kick my arse for it :whistling:
