National lurcher racing club

Recommended Posts

Had a few of the NLRC Field Trial and Obedience Test Champions stay with me, darn sarf...

They were all Goodfellas,..real keen on their hunting and all with a genuine understanding of dog handling.

We discussed several aspects of lurcher work,  both in the artificial arena of the showground and in the hunting field, plus pondered upon the various methods required to achieve consistent results using different lurcher crosses, types etc...

All in all, an interesting experience...

Some do both

Yeah, I accept that mate but lurchers that consistently win races will just have more pure grey or whippet blood. Any lurcher worth its salt would refuse to chase a dummy. They know the difference or would  just cut the bends even if they did chase.
