Dew Claws

Recommended Posts

Never touch them as I've never seen them to be a problem and IMO they're there for a reason.

What's the word used to describe them? Adipose ?

I don't believe it, I think nature has them there for something.

I've Always left them in place, as said before they are there for a reason climbing, grooming, holding a large bone 🍖 Or other object in place.

Remove as bairns for me.

Never personally had earth dogs, only "bushers" (one fuucking useless, unless a squirrel was about. The other would dig down to a rabbit like a ferret) and seen a few ripped dews. I prefer them off tbh in all my dogs.

I use to tape up the terriers and staffy before going out bushing, after experience taught me that is ;)

Can't see them being a problem on working terriers, pitbulls use them as almost a thumb when holding or grabbing things. On lurchers there a curse.
