In Aldeburgh now, queue for both chippies is enormous.

 

Spent a lot of time here as a kid with one of my school mates, i hate the way its gone all yuppified with shops like Jack Wills and Quba sails, art galleries and antiques bollocks.

 

There's a woman here now walking down the street in her dressing gown ffs.

 

Still, later on I intend to take a long walk onto orford ness which should get me away from all the Ruperts.

I went to Aldeburgh & saw the queue & thought fcuk that! How good can it be? I was already used to great F&C. I like Southwold better.......;-)

orford oysters are spot on and if you get it right the fish landed can be bought at the quay
