mark williams 7,568
Been keeping an eye on the pigeons/ habits, of late lads, as the crops are coming together nicely now. They have their favourite sitty trees, so I had a word with the farm gardener and had these conifer cuttings put well within air rifle range of this popular sitty tree a month or so ago,- pigeons are well used to it now, so I`ll shape it up into a really good natural hide next. The trees in the next photo get a lot of Pigeon and I`ve taken many from it by building a hide in the hedgerow alongside it, with full gillie suit on. Here`s why I prefer the .177 cal for threading my shots through spindle branches. Went out tonight but the fine rain stopped play, so just for his mates on here I took his photo. atb Mark. 5 Quote Link to post
