Russians are right into this cyber warfare these past couple years. Watched a programme last month there are literally thousands originating from Russia in different departments.

 

Not saying this one was but i wouldn't bet against it being those sneaky b*****ds!

What program? I saw a pile of steaming dog shit on Panorama about the Russians hacking the US election (apparently they can hack the minds of voters now lol) not an ounce of actual evidence, the best they came up with was a blured computer monitor showing lines of unreadable code lol.

 

All governments do cyber warfare, remember how the Iranian centrifuges were destroyed by a virus, that was the US or Israelis, the Russians do it intelligently and don't leave their finger prints all over it like the metadata left behind in the Macron leaks, the Chinese are very brazen as well but they can get away with it due to the economic ties to the US The US can be very blunt as our media rarely reports on it, the Russians have to be far more subtle....like the West when it used soft propaganda....brute force doesn't work for them and something trivial like this only hurts them.

Yep I know, what I was saying was that some of these so called hacks are just bad security and could have been performed by fairly average hackers, Macron metadata or the Democrat hacks being a prime example.

 

Still it's all very interesting, imagine what is going on behind the scenes of hacking and counter hacking between governments...it would probably make a boring 007 film though lol

 

By the way I wonder if the Iranians even had internet access at that facility? I can't believe they would be so stupid as to have the computers that controlled the centrifuges on a network...so it was carried in on a USB stick or something.

You're very pro russian nik seen a few of you're posts where you seem to object to any criticism towards them. Well not for me they have been an enemy towards the west for decades and always will be.

As for the that c**t putin hope the f****r drops dead.

 

I see on other sites americans and brits blowing smoke up putin and Russias arse, baffling to say the least.

I doubt they targeted the nhs just some silly sod opened some thing he shouldn't and went some where he shouldn't and downloaded the virus

As for what it can do it can pretty much encrypt any data visible on the network making it unreadable so suddenly doctors have no history on you or a clue what the hell is going on. With people turning up for appointments and the hospital having no idea why they are there.

Pretty bad do. So this is where we find out how good there backups are

Ours are fine 12 months on disk over 7 years on tape

Give me a British version of that and I'm sold....by the way I have actually listened to all of his speeches (you see I always do my research) and if you did the same you would see he is highly intelligent unlike our politicians and if you were a Russian you would probably love him. I am a ptriot at heart but I am never going to jump with joy at the prospect of destroying some third world shit hole just for lols....I've worked in several that we have caused havoc in and it was embarrassing to talk to the locals.

 

Anyway I digress, are you happy to just believe our media and politicians without seeing evidence? When we attack a country I want to see as much as I can since we've been duped so many times....especially when that country has 5000 nuclear missiles

There is one thing that will haunt me to the day I die. We had a black (that bit is important) guard I think he was from Chad but I can't remember, we used to have a right laugh talking crap till all hours.

 

When things started kicking off in Tunisia and Egypt it was obvious to me that it was going to come to us in Libya...luckily (I didn't think so at the time) I got laid off a few days later, took me a week to get my passport back by which time things were heading down the toilet fast. Anyway short version....I got out, got another job and moved on...

 

It was only later after reading the BS our media pump out about 'mercenaries' shooting from roof tops and bla bla just like we saw with Syria and other places....After checking liveleak I got to see that the 'rebels' i.e. western or Saudi sponsored Islamists were shooting them all in the head, when I was there, there were loads of black Africans in Libya all sitting by the side of the road looking for work, they weren't mercenaries they were just in the wrong place at the wrong time and got killed for it.

 

I wonder about that guy a lot and whether he survived, I think probably not because anyone black was killed by the Islamists as a possible mercinary.

 

So I don't trust a word that comes out of the mouths of our government or media and never have. Putin has only ever reacted rather than intervened but sure...he might be a bad guy but he will never be as bad as what the US and UK have been doing.

 

Caviat - I am not against any of our servicemen and never have been, I think we should always support them as they are only doing what they are told to do.

At the press conference a mother visibly condemned them before some official stuck a needle in her neck to silence her.

I dont believe what comes out of their outlets, I am a big believer in 'least path of resistance' i.e what seems the most obvious is likely to be the case. I generally likem to see documents or video footage before believing anything as it's harder to fake.

 

Anyway a strong Russia would probably be good for the West, it would stop our fussing over idiotic details like the Middle East, if we have to have an enemy let it be a great one.
