timmy k 594
Laddy lurcher has it spot on. It's the end of the season for lurchers so ask about shooting pigeons, crows and rats.shoot away threw the summer, get to know the farmer and if your lurcher is well behaved and will retrieve what you shoot take him on from time to time, then come September inquire about lamping and jobs a gooden. terryd 8,994
Do you mind if I have a wander with the ferret and dog please. I will keep away from any live stock. Tends to put them at ease a bit and they soon say then oh don't worry them cows or horses will be fine. Or don't go down the bottom where the cattle are. Then just work your way from there. Pays to drop in a tin of biscuits or some thing at a later date. Then before you know its don't bother calling first just carry on Christ one farmer nearly fell off his perch the other night when i called first to go lamping. He was thanks for calling to ask thank you like I done him a favour. There are some good ones about 1 Quote Link to post
