Just watching the highlights of Riddick Bowe and Evander Holyfield 1. This is arguably the greatest HW bout of all time. Gives me shivers watching it......

deff  if holyfield had been proper heavy with bow size and power i reckon he have won , just on his fitness guts

I think it answers the question when people ask wether the small greats of the past could compete with the big heavyweights of today. Holyfield was outweighed by 30lb and put in an amazing performance. He did beat Bowe in the rematch the following year and then lost their rubber match.

same in a way with Haye, as he not a natural heavyweight , he fight 15-16st , but can still knock over men who a couple stone heavier , so his next fight in march he fighting Bellew who not even a natural cruiser , he is a light/heavy , Haye should ko him 4-6 round

Haye is a natural HW albeit a pretty small one by today's standards. If you've got talent you can compete with the big boys, it's been proven plenty of times.

Ali won the title weighing in at 15 stone and was around 15 1/2 stone when he fought Frazier and Foreman.
