pikey boy 25 Posted January 8, 2017 Report Share Posted January 8, 2017 first day out today 2 new young gills and ferreting partner stuart [spd85] real nice guy the day started slow with gills going to ground ok but no rabbits maybe nothing at home or not going deep enought started on small warrens then we came across some slightly bigger ones so had a go ferrets started to stay down longer and rabbits started to bolt and ferrets starting to know there job 4 hours later 7 good rabbits pleased with how they got on, stuart i thing enjoyed morning out going to be meeting up again for days out need to get a good lurcher to help mark love to see a good dog work 2 Quote Link to post

Save a lot of time you might spend an hour ferreting around a field for nothing where as the dog would walk round it in 2 minutes and tell you nothing there.
