But he would still be second choice to my old Patterdale x lakey ours is great with dogs and livestock as I broke him to them when training him on the gun, his son hates both but loves people, they have had many a sore face with unsuspecting hedgehogs, both great ratters, only prob with retrieving shot game was they chomped the shite out of it whilst bringing it back to hand, and the one in the pic always tried to nick any fish I caught, I seen many a mackerel disappearing down his throat still flapping around, lol Quote Link to post

Dig-deep-draw-charlie 2,713 Posted January 6, 2017 Report Share Posted January 6, 2017 ive had a few terriers in my time, and every one done what was expected of them, patt, russell, bull russell, lakey, border. the most mental was the bull russell, totally mute, defo a locator dog. for me i like to see an underdog doing well, loved them all.
