Just seen pics on 28DL urbex site ,looks very interesting ,atomic weapons storage facility ,from the cold war era .Find stuff from those times interesting ,got a ROC shelter near by,also a big local goverment shelter under some offices ,which id like to have seen inside! 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

I did some research on the WW2 lines of defense (when they thought the Germans were going to invade) near where I used to live, there were a lot of pill boxes and various other things to be found. mackem 30,104 Posted December 15, 2016 Report Share Posted December 15, 2016 I went to the diefenbunker in ontario earlier this year,or late last year,its a 4 story facility 75 feet underground,a cold war nuclear bunker,i even found an old catalogue,maybe sears?that sold traps in the canteen untouched just as it had been left.
