I promised Owen I would take him to the shooting range tomorrow. He's been itching to go again since the other week. We'll be there from about 10 ish, I think he's going to show his Grandad how to shoot the R10.

Just got back not so long ago lads had a good day out

 

Owen is coming along nicely he was not getting on with the r10 but once i told him what to do he started hitting targets out to 35,,,,40mtrs most of the time and hitting the bell at 60mtrs

 

even put 6 or 7 pellets in a 5p size target

 

But once he started to miss a few times with the r10 he started to loose interest

 

That was until i got the hw100s hunter carbine out for him

 

Now this rifle suits him down to the ground and he hit all the spinners out to 60mtrs with every shot never missed one

 

Now when the lad went home with his grandad (rsvnelly) he had a smile on his face

 

and only the hw100 dose that time and time again for us all lol

This is true Jimmy, however when he got home he went straight in and told his Mum what Uncle Jimmy told him. Needlessly to say his Mum wanted to know how much it would cost, that went down like a cup of cold sick. I'm now the most unpopular fecker in their house now as well???

Great day again though mate thank you, Ethan and Sean again. Owen will look back and realise how lucky he's been to have good lads showing him all this stuff????

you can get one for £500 some times less if you look around like Viz say,d to you if or when you want one tell him and he will find one for you bud

 

and most will come fitted out with scopes and so on .

 

tell him next Xmas and tell his,,,,MUM IM NOT SORRY ,,,because if she or you both got him some thing else you would only be buying him one later on any way and that would cost you more as you would buy twice ..

 

Any way he is more than welcome to use ours until he gets one any time he wants and that's a promise .

 

Did you see him shoot that hw100 once i show,d him how to handle the rifle and where to put his forehand on the stock

 

to steady the rifle he was spot on with every shot you must of bean proud of him i told him he should of bean proud of him self for what he had achieved to day,

 

and i told him he was better than last time and that he had to keep practicing and the more he practiced the better he would get

 

I told him that one day he would out shoot you and that even we still had to practice or we would start missing to He smiled at that, WE CANT HIT EVERY THING OUR SELFS OR IT WOULD JUST GET BORING i told him

 

He is a quiet lad and dose not let on much but i had him laughing to day must of been my crap shooting lol

Well I must say I truly enjoyed today at the range; after all it is what you make it, I clicked with the Wolf today it was a total pleasure to shoot; and the bipod is spot on on it ! Try not to rush the grandkids into shooting as much; the weather makes a huge difference and if they are not comfortable don't push them; they will enjoy it more; it's getting to be a canny place for a bit banter; well done all.

LOL he said he enjoyed it on the way home Jimmy, I found when I dropped him off he'd had a late night last night so he was knackered this morning, so that didn't help.

I was saying he'd done a lot better because of the distance he was shooting. He was smiling when I said Ethan had been shooting at the same distance. I was watching when he had the HW100, he was hitting everything he was pouting the barrel at??

He wants to go back and that's what counts mate??

I enjoy it their, everyone has a good bit of banter and it was warmer today ??

I'm glad the bipod suits ya Sean, looking forward to getting the new ones on the R10 along with The Mountmaster Scope??
