A Good Walk But A Decent Day

went out today with stoggy where the rabbits had ruined a field early this year we took some large bags off here. mixy was here the last time i came so wasn't expecting much we started at the basin about 400 yard walk with all the gear this was a bank still covered in brambles and nettles we ferreted every hole even when the little lurcher said nothing was home we ended up with 6 very healthy rabbits . then the rain started so we waited at the car till it baited and worked a drainage ditch about a 1000 yards long the holes were under the roots so decided to shoot and net what we could ended with 14 off this edge 20 in total but only 19 in pic as 1 was completely mush farmer well happy

It was a good day out despite the rain showers.The rabbits were very clean never saw any fleas on them.Last year at this time you just had to look at the rabbits ears and they were covered in fleas.Still a lot of holes to ferret at this place so still plenty of rabbits to get yet.
