I put a few pellets through her in the dark and saw a touch of dieseling - minute flashes that quickly settled down.

I sent a few pellets to my fence line some 38 yards off using FAP`s and Hobby flat heads, - very quick and hard hitting .22`s.

 

 

Look at the state of the old spring, piston seal (not leather) and breach seal.

 

 

Here she is, all put back together and ready for the re-mounting and calibrating of the scope tomorrow. Just hope she settles down in the first few hundred pellets and gets leaded in well.

 

Noticed the platted leather sling on her ? That has come off a FWB Sport of 40 years of age,- got it for a tenner £10

Wow! Bet it will be a big improvment! Nice buy with the old sling in keeping with its age too. It Will be very intresting to see how it beds in. Very nice.
