Another Pemission

Recommended Posts

Got a phone call from Gareth the owner of Walsh Quarries Ballarat, asked if I could come out and start to clear the rabbits, apparently the numbers are huge. I will be meeting him Sunday morning and will post pics and information, Sounds like a good opportunity. Excuse my lack of grammar in the title lol

The top pic the fields look good for lamping or long netting at night. Depending where the rabbits are

Would be good if its good lamping ground (or parts of it) its not to far from me, One way or another I'll find a way to clear a few

Nice one,,always nice when there calling you come out...

How long left befor you finish for the summer mate,,or do you go right through

We don’t have a season, our rabbits breed all year round more in the spring (now) in the heat we start at first light and only get about 5 hours before it starts too get to hot, so we do more with the lamp in summer.

they'll be hundreds in that quarry if not thousands i just came home from doing one at bachus marsh and the place is loaded with them.always fun checking out new territory.

I hope so, he said there is huge numbers going out with the owner tomorrow he is giving me the keys. we should go out together if you are on this side of town working. It's two separate quarries he owns both.
