si brown 8,486 Posted October 4, 2016 Report Share Posted October 4, 2016 been looking on the fishing part of THL and theres a whats your swim like!! i enjoy pike fishing but its a winter thing for me... so i thought it would be good to see where the hunting lads like hiding out when the going gets tough/rough!! i got to the mecca on sunday and the wind was a nightmare, nearly didn't get out of the car!! so this is my goto sh!t weather hideout can usually get a few crows before they know whats going on!! only the one from there this sunday, didn't hang about cos there was loads of activity/ tractors and feeding going on i shoot these trees a fair bit so i know my dots! 1md h 2 md windage.. like steg the other day.... not much happening but a good shot = one happy camper!! it dropped like a brick and was dead before it hit the deck!! atb si 5 Quote Link to post

This suit is the "Daisy mk 7" with breathable armpits and rear end. Another " big plus" with this suit is that you can hang around the gates to the fields wearing it and say " Morning love" ! to anyone walking past,- ( scares the sh%t out of them) ! tomburras 2,730 Posted October 5, 2016 Report Share Posted October 5, 2016 On one of the farms I can go on its got an old concrete shed that used to be used to guide returning planes back to the runway during ww2 in the dark. It has an engine room and a pair of doors at the end where a set of fold out lights uned to slide out of to guide them back. It's in the middle of a field and when laid out on the roof makes an ideal bunny shooting spot off the bipod you can cover the hedgerows on half of that field. It also gets the imagination going thinking about what action it saw. 1 Quote Link to post
