Single Man Hide

I also like to build a natural hide but then theres the problem if your no just in the right spot and need to move it quickly theres a lot to be said for a few poles and a bit of net

Years ago when I used to go wildfowling, I would make five or six hides on the marsh to try to cover different scenarios but confess to now use netting for ease of setting up where the birds are feeding.

 

I would love to find a camo net that actually looks like the bushes or weeds/ grasses that we hide in. Even wondered about buying some artificial greenery to add to netting.

 

My pal has one of these two man hides which is brilliant in the wet but a bit of a pain to put away. I nearly bought a different version at the Game Fair, they were selling at around £60 for a single or £85 for a two man tent.

The one that impressed me most was like a pram hood that you could open more for shotgun use or close up for rifle use. Not sure but I think A1 Decoy sells them.
