Rabbits For Pen

A friend of mine needs up to 10 rabbits to stock a pen, obviously need to be alive.

 

Was wondering if ferreting was the best way and if anyone could help ?

 

We are in Bristol.

Forgive me if I'm wrong but I think it's illegal to trap and move Wild rabbits

Best option is to go to livestock market can pick up pet rabbits couple of quid each

Plenty of people use rabbit pens for gundog training etc all of which stock there pens from somewhere.

I think you'll find that most gun dog trainers use natural warrens albeit wired, to train gundogs. It is a given that moving live rabbits from on e location to another is against the law. You are moving an infestation for one thing and another is that land owners are obliged to control the spread of rabbits, not to spread them. Bit tough for us country guys but that is how it is.

Thinking on. By now you have grasped the situation and I'm sure you can come up with a solution. We like ferreting and they all come to a net. Happy hunting Lloyd.
