gwalchmai4110 1,758
had a quiet walk out early this morning with wales123 again. he travalled up with two of his mutts one of which was the big bullxhound! we went to a large forestry block ....collared the mutts and turned them loose! was a pretty quiet walk to be honest but the dogs seemed to be constantly hunting about on scent. owain blue bitch added a little excitement when she went into a perfect "point" style mark in some thick cover and the big old hound cross went smashing in and out exploded our quarry but he was soon away using the tarmac to his advantage! i was amazed by the big hound cross! infact i tried to buy him but owain is not for parting and for good reason. he hunted tirelessly from start to finish and cdense cover or open ground it made no odds to the big lad. cant wait to see him more this season and really am amazed more boys arent using this cross! atb 5 Quote Link to post
