Shit I've been caught out again .

These one's are strictly for the bredroom! note how clean they are :D. The missus likes to see me dress up like a cattle farmer and give her a good milking, she's now due for slaughtering so I can get myself a nice little Heffer :whistling:.....

I bought a pair of Muck Boots last year and would agree that they are warm and comfortable, unfortunately mine don't have great grip (I think it's the Tweed that I've got; with a contoured rather than traditional sole) other than that they are good, if a tad heavy for my skinny legs, so may try the Tay as recommended above.

As for boots, I've worn Brasher Supalites for six years or more now and they are unbelievably comfortable. They do however have two drawbacks: 1) they are so light than anything else feels heavy in comparison and 2) the grip isn't great on mud. :hmm: I'm noticing a common theme here; maybe I should just stop drinking before I take the dogs out.

Some newbie input here - hope no-one minds!

Had a pair of muckboots for a couple of years now and I have mixed feelings about them. True they are warm but that neoprene is a bitch in anything other than cold weather and I've been known to take them off to reveal soaked legs in the pattern of where the neoprene was. Maybe I'm just a sweaty git though :D . Plus I got them wet whilst using them for pike fishing once and the sole area was a bitch to dry again - so much so that now they smell worse than a pig's arse. Not what you want for stalking up on the bunnies or anything else for that matter. Plus the neoprene is soft as anything and will tear if you catch it on barbed wire. Plus the sole is the slippiest thing since banana skins were invented but I believe there's a new design now (of the sole not the banana skin!)

They're a good design but I think I'll be reverting to walking boots and gaiters from now on if I can find gaiters that don't rustle too much -any recommendations?

Cheers

Gerry
