Went To Look At A Compatto And Came Out With This!

Recommended Posts

only put a mag through just to see how it felt, it was getting late and the light wasn't good so i didn't bother trying to zero it ,

but it dose handle well moving it about it feels really comfortable if that doesn't sound too sad but thats the name of the game!

its just as quiet as the 100s and the weight is balanced well with prob more to the back which suits me its only about 60mm shorter than a full size 100 but they are two very different beasts, got it in 177 which is good cos I've loads of different pellets to test from the others

see how may pigeons it gets me tomorrow :hmm:

I had a go with one at the shooting show and was very impressed, if it was a shotgun, I would have described it as fast handling and the balance suited me too Si with a touch of butt heavy but only a touch. I too will be very interested how you get on and what shot count you get from it.

Sweet. Doesn't really appeal to me, for various reasons, but it's good to see a new rifle out and about, other than in the magazines.

No work then :D

managed to get out with it today,!

first job was to get it zeroed so i stuck a few mags through to lead it up ,went with the trusty aa fields for the job.. my mate had to stand near the target that was lazed at 40yrd yards cos it was a mile out and id forgotten my glasses! d!ckhead

so one mag to get it on the money and this was the result

no prob with accuracy .

this will be the bit that gets me shot :whistling:

this isn't a comparison cos there two entirely different models, it would be like comparing a 97 to a 30!

but as us twats know there are a lot of similar features so theres going to be a bit !

first off it handles great, my mate a 5year vet with a 100 ks loves it... he's got one on order and has had for ages and not even got a sniff of it yet, he's got two left handed kids who enjoy shooting but the rh sporters hard work for them!

first off the mag is not a one handed affair the mag release has to be physically held back unlike on a 100! first gripe.

the mag its-self is fiddley to load you've got to hold the switch back and make sure the cocking lever is all the way back either doing it on its side or upright as the pellet probe floats once cocked, until pushed all the way home!

this will probably become second nature after a while but at first its a bit of a pain cos the mag gets fouled and won't go in! ill say the mag fits snuggly cos its not painting to good a picture at the moment!

i think it might benefit from a strip down and a few parts greasing but should you have to do this yourself  i think not!

after reading this you ma be thinking hmmm..... but don't, this is a very well built rifle and i can see it being bullet proof, its perfect for hunters I've dragged it through hedges bashed it on gates and barbed wire all on my fist outing :icon_redface: and theres not a mark on it!

its going to get a lot more use this weekend so hopefully things will loosen up with use!

no hunting wright up cos i put in a sh!te performance and only got the one rabbit that dropped at 42yrd off the stick!

not trying to put anyone off by the way, its just not quite as refined as the one were not to compare it to!

I supose without trying or wanting to, you quite naturally compare the 110 to a 100 by virtue of the fact that they are both Weihrauch and look very much the same.

I guess fans of AA guns will feel the same comparisons with how to cock the new Galahad bull pup.

As you say Si, it is just different to how things are on the 100. It makes you wonder why Weihrauch would want to change such a successful mag system as the 100. Really interested to see how things develop

As people know a comparison is kind of inevitable but I think this is just another rifle made to be what if is,different people like or want different things from a rifle and this may be an answer to those who don't quite like the 100? You know how it is some things just don't "feel" right, its not meant to be an affordable 100,just another offering, look at how many variations of the 400 series air arms offer...

Would be nice to know what one is like though and if weihrauch should of made it totally different so as not to have it in the 100's shadow :hmm:
