Cut Pad ?

Recommended Posts

Buck cut his left back foot, its to the under side by his nail the pad . because its in a awkward spot, he not putting any weight on it , i should imagine it would be painful walking on it. i think it could take 2-3 weeks to heal, how long to these type cut pads take on average to heal .? he made me laugh to night on the walk with Bryn, i went to my normal place common ground, went when there not many people /dogs there. Buck's hobbling on 3 legs , he had piss/shit then i put him back on the lead, Bryn mooching along the edge , when he stood still looking up the edge,a bloody fox about 40yds came through looked then went back in edge,Bryn started to run, Buck the big bugger nearly pulled through the edge, he forgot about his feckin toe then lol, 5 min after he back on 3 legs the prat . biggrin.png

I have used liquid skin in the past to keep dirt out and keep it clean.

i am leaving it alone, let him lick and clean it, the saliva should clean it i would have thought , it will take as i think 3 weeks to heal because of where it is . but he not putting much weight as yet, so that should help it i would have thought .
