Stripped her back to day mate all the deep dings are gone bar 1

 

all the deep scratches are gone

 

just need to smooth her out for you now mate

 

im going to wet and dry her starting as soon as iv put this thread up so you can see the progress as it go,s on

 

there are a few photos so you can see where the dings have gone

Lads this stock is 22yrs old but she will be like new when done or better lol

Started the wet and dry process to smooth her out

 

using 800 grit to start with then 1200 grit finishing with 1000 grit

David would not know what to charge mate as it takes to long and then it would not be a hobby and would rush them to get finished and move on to the next one .

 

and it would be cheaper to buy a new stock lol

It is fantastic to see the transformation Jimmy puts into these gunstock refurbishments. This stock will be like mine that's coming towards finishing. Beautiful, refreshed and likely, it will better than the day it was originally made.
