I knew a cracking spot here in Merseyside for them. Then the national trust or wet or whoever it is fenced it off and put none native mammals on the land and turned its into a load of lakes which changed the landscape and I haven't seen one for about 3 years now.

some breed here too, there is one pair nesting close to where I am..and, a pair of LEO nesting, Even though SEO nest on the bottom, they are extremely difficult to find
