Smallish Court/play Area Ideas

Recommended Posts

My hob has been split from the jills and is currently in a single hutch on his own and being a soft tw*t I am feeling sorry for the little bugger.

I had an old two level hutch that was a bit worse for wear so I have decided to make a small court/play area for him to entertain and try and keep him sharper for when/if the season starts.

I have taken the front off and the split level out so it is one open area. I am guna jetwash and disinfect it. I have a wheel from leeview to fit and was planning on running the 100mm spiral ducting around up and down to give some tunnels to run through and maybe a hamock type thing.

Considering its not a massive space is there any other ideas lads? Anything you guys have that the ferrets really like?

If hes near the jills and can see or hear them he will get enough exercise pacing about the front of the hutch

he is near them and he is constantley pacing and chuntering. thats why I wana see if something else will occupy him.....cant see it though! To be fair I will be kettin the jills use the little court/play area aswell, not at same time, so he will probably just be lookin for them in there.

the spiral ducting get a hole cutter and put a few more holes in rather one at each end, that will give him something to explore but the real benefit will come with the jills and kits bombing round and popping up everywhere
