:laugh:

It didn't stop there;

We came up to a clearing near to coll de pal I spotted a roe buck about 70-80m away called cabron and lifted him on his back leg's so he could see it. He didn't until it moved at that point he took off on his what I would call first proper course. He was well switched on and determined and managed to close the gap to around 20m I then spot both dog and deer heading towards a feckin big drop. The buck went over and bron pulled up. He tried to go another way around but he lost him.....

I never knew roe could be so sure footed

Well pleased with today both dickhead and me are knackered and he's learnt he can chase somethings (just not other bloody dogs) :laugh:

Hope that worked :laugh:

Just a couple.

The last one, I think it is. Where the dog is looking to the right of the screen in the open land is where he had his last chase, as you can see he wasn't for letting it go :laugh: he kept disappearing back down having that last look.

:laugh: :laugh:

After today he surprised me ;)

Even my vegetarian mate was hooked :laugh: he had the best view of the hind breaking cover and saw bron explode and couldn't believe it. He only caught the first part of the run on the buck and was disappointed he missed the most of it and there was no kill :laugh: best type of vegetarian you could ever meet. Doesn't eat meat and doesn't give two fuucks if anyone does ;)

It'll be just him and me come next season. I've got a good bit of local knowledge built up and now I can trust him.

He came straight back every time and was good as gold even with his blood up ;)

Don't know what he'll make of hares and rabbits though :laugh:

Tbh I have no idea if he'll mince them or not.

I would never have thought he would take off after a hind and she was a big strong one but he did.

In all honesty when he took off I just thought 'oh fuuck I've no GPS' :laugh: I took off after him (General direction he's faster than me lol) and followed the crashing, silence hit and I stood there for maybe 5mins and he just appeared. Lots of praise to say the least ;)
