So I've read and been told there is border blood in some nuttal lines the borders used were of Levi oaks blood

I have a pictur of a dog who is very promanant in this line who shows border influence and he was used as stud at nuttals yard

I don't know what the story was with the border influence in Nuttal dogs he told me nothing about it and I never saw one there or a cross, but I do know the was slagging off about fifteen years ago or so between the two men, not levi but a man who had his dogs a good while over a service maybe. But i do know in the very old nutl stuff the was border I was told, but not much look of it, except maybe jacket, size and colour and probably work background

The black one, it's grandmother was a full border, worker and the farther to it had a few borders in its make up, parent, grandparents,

They were litter sisters. Different litter, through the same type and worked well. That one was lost when i was out walking or could have been lifted. But I lost a grandmother to it which could very well been lifted by the dirt in the dogame,

Yeh, folk see a rough coat and a broad skull and presume there's Border blood in there.

Same when it's smooth with a broad skull they say it's got bull blood.

Believe it or not some lads know how to breed good strong black terriers with nothing added but love, LOL.

The other chap on here se, said once that anyone who has only seen smooth one's and faces just hasn't been around black dogs long enough, he must have been around in the eighteenth century or something

I never knew that?, I was told some gould, and in later news, Nuttal, although Nuttal wasn't taking any glory of ns dogs. He did say he saw the jc dog being dug too. He said just a average Fox dog, nothing new
