archiekale 427
had a call off a farmer saying he had some more ferreting if i was interested that time of year again anyway arrived about 1/2 10 by myself i was pointed in to a edge about 100 yards long the rabbits warrens where well run but with signs of young on some burrows .so i decided to net up the edge and give it a good half hour for things to settle the large rabbits bolted easy but as usual the ferrets were killing young below ground but leaving them ended the day with 12 large rabbits and a happy farmer will be back in the same area next week but a different edge forgot to mention a escape bolted from under the water line on the edge Quote Link to post
HedgeCrawler 224
That's a nice bag and good looking dog as well . I stopped for this season myself recently due to the abundance of young. Quote Link to post
