Walk Up The Falls

Took the wee mutt in the falls this afternoon.

 

Looking for a bit of advice on retrieving?

Indoors or the garden he'll retrieve all day but, when out on walks he's not intrested and will only bring it half way and drop it or walk off with it.

 

Any advice would be great.

a game of tug usually helps loads of hiding it behind your back , getting it excited on the toy ,don't rush to take it away,and loads of praise when they bring it back,

but guessing its only a pup so recall is more important now than bringing back

as sed all ready and when out of the garden try taking him some were quiet with no sent about to destract him evan a leaf blowing down the felied wood get his atenshion and put him off keep it up in the garden and get the recall bang on

Try a search mate I had same carry on, found loads of good advice and practiced it twice a day in short sessions outside for two weeks now he doing good. But still get the odd f**k you look on recall, and run around with the retrieve lol

Just keep at it and he will come good.

Any fish in that river beam?? Looks a good chuck with a spinner or trotting a worm down on light tackle

It's a spawning burn len, gets a decent run end of season.

It's supposed to be heavily watched by cameras and bailiffs.

 

It's a deep big pool with drops of about 15ft each side, used to jump off it in the summer.

Aha there's another river not from where this is, that fishes well end of season.
