fluff 410
jae benny hare shoots was a popular thing years ago all round the lothains , back in the day they even let guys take there dogs , always been hare shoots ,not my cup of tea ,not many actualy shoot hares i think there only one or two estates on the arable land who do it , some of the hill keepers shoot what moves, one of my mates went on it says never again hares with legs blowing off running in woods etc hees a dog man but got invited, he says it should be banned , funny old game , it was shooters who wiped most hare areas out that i coursed since a boy not the dog man,in the eighties i never had to walk more than a mile raduis to get two or three runs no hassle , some farmers still chased you off but that was that , whitburgh and all round there always have had hare shoots , infact years ago most farms had them once a year if there were several farms all together ,they all got to the local game dealer ,personaly if there were to many i would long net them and move them to areas with less hares rather than blasting them 2 Quote Link to post
