mark williams 7,568
A long couple of hours and finally got the visit i was waiting for. I zeroed the HW 100 kt .177 to strike a match using the recently bought 4-16x 50 Mamba scope and waited over by the farm yard buildings under cover of machinery, bushes and my leaf suit. I simply threw some de frosted guts, livers etc from wood pigeons onto a small barn roof and waited, - always works ! A pair of Maggies landed, cackling away. One fed while one watched on. The watcher was taken with a clinical head shot and fell/ slumped instantly, the feeding bird lifted 3-4 feet, landed going mad cackling and he was taken immediately with another head shot. A photo of the Magpies and zero is in the gun reviews, technical, tips section. atb 1 Quote Link to post
