Popular Post NEWKID 29,396
Since my wife opened the salon and called it "a salon called hare", she's had loads of hare related gifts, statues, pictures, cushions etc. Well it was her birthday on Saturday and unbeknown to us the husband of one of the girls who works for her is an artist. He drew her this It's the wife as a hare lol... Turns out he illustrates in books etc, it's a cracking picture, signed and framed.. Really thoughtful IMO Edited December 21, 2015 by NEWKID

NEWKID 29,396
Cheers lads. Was very thoughtful Tilly, we had no idea that he was an artist by trade, so when she saw it was signed by him it was a nice touch

She's the only person some get chance to have a good natter with all week and it breaks her heart everytime one passes away. My mums a hairdresser too, does a lot of old woman and she is the same, her mobile round includes everything from shopping, cooking, bit of cleaning, days out etc lol.. The missus always worked in town salons and built a big clientelle over 20 years or so but being ill for the last few years stopped her working and she only retained a few that she done at home when she could. She took the salon on in January and word got out, a lot of her old clients were back with her and the ones she kept at home were in with all sorts of presents etc, she's become really good friends with a lot of them and their confidante... You've got to be good with people to do the job for sure.

mattyg 1,862
My Mrs pays pays 3 figures up here and comes home looking exactly the same.... I'll chuck a bit of business your way what with the in laws and all that. It's a great bit of art for the salon or the chimney breast. Cheers, Matt
