Meeks 153
Just back in from a couple hours out with the whippet.what a nightmare he had tonight.i gave him 8/9 slips, some long, some short,1 squatter but he never bagged any of them.the squatter was a black one, sitting tight, ran straight up to it the pulled away as if he didn't think it was a rabbit right at the last min, then went for it.he got caught in a fence when putting a strike in,he just wasn't on the ball tonight.so back home,he's got a gash out his side and his face all scratched to bits.think he'll be sore in the morning.still learning I suppose.sometimes I think I expect to much from him as its only his 2nd real season on the lamp.still all great fun tho? Somewhereyournot 1,117
Go out and don't expect anything as you will get stressed. I find the more worked up I get the worse my dog does lol 1 Quote Link to post
